On this page you will find a summary of this website in english.

The Standardisation Board and Standardisation Forum were established by decree (PDF | 114kB) by the Minister of Economic Affairs on 27 March 2006.

The Standardisation Forum supports the Dutch government in the use, development and establishment of open standards for electronic exchange. In this way it promotes interoperability, not only within the Dutch government system itself, but also in the relations between government agencies on the one hand and citizens and companies on the other.

Most documents relating to the activities of the Forum are only availabe in dutch. However, some reports are either translated or originally drafted in english. Links to these documents can be found on this page. The documents are organized by topic.
